The Caravan in Syria

Our volunteers are now in Syria (as of 7th January 2014) preparing to carry out the the food parcel and winter blanket distribution.
….‘with people surviving on a meal a day, if they’re lucky. Some of the places we went to had meat for the first time in over three months. Now let’s try reflecting this onto ourselves. We complain even when we have three meals every day. It’s our duty to help our Muslim brothers and sisters as soon as possible.”

….“The worst feeling is when, after so much distribution, the food would run out, yet people would still be queuing up waiting, almost begging for a bit of food so that they can feed their families.”
“After going on my first ever trip in 2006, my eyes opened up to on how lucky we really are.
Straight after my first trip, I made a firm intention to do as much as I can to help people all around the world Insha’Allah (God willing).”

Weddings

Thanks to your donations we are able to find poor girls who are looking for a husband. Their family find them a similar man and we give them clothing for the Nikah (wedding) as well as essentials to help start a home such as pots and pans, bedding, a bucket, suitcase, footwear etc.

The young couple are also given tools to help them earn a living. The young men are given either a cycle rickshaw to be used as a taxi or cycle rickshaw designed to carry goods. Or they could be given a boat to start them earning a livelihood. The girls may be given a sewing machine with training on the basics of tailoring. Without the training, they may give up and sell the sewing machine.

Ghana Appeal

Quran Project for Ghana:

We have printed 20,000 Qurans for Ghana. ‘Interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Quran’ contain both Arabic as well as English text. The translation is by Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al Hilali and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan. It features explainations from Sahih Al Bukhari. The front and back covers are being printed now in India and almost ready for dispatch.

Each book cost £3.00 (cost covers transport, printing and distribution). Inshallah this consignment will be delivered to Tema, Accra (location of our Ghana office) in February 2013 and from there the Qurans will be delivered to different locations throughout Ghana.

The cost of this project have been met but we still need funds for future Quran distribution.

As part of this consignment, we plan to include Islamic Dawah literature as well as French tranlated Qurans for neighbouring countries. After visiting Ghana recently, Maulana Ebrahim saw first hand how much the locals are crying out for knowledge. Please donate English books and literature for dawah. Please donate lillah by phoning CoM on 0116 276 3344 or use this website to make a donation using your bank/ credit card.

We need donations now for the added literature.

PLEASE DONATE NOW.
